So, I know this is a bit late….. But I don’t care. I was thinking of snowboarding today and decided to put some night-photos out there!
Story: I was at Buck Hill (Snowboarding) and it was cold and I remembered that I am terrible at snowboarding so I stopped. I was just planning on standing around for a while, then I remember I had my camera bag in the car! Woohoo!
I got it out not really knowing what to do. Adam and company were going off of this strange “jump” that was more of a “rounded point” (Which had been scaring the crap out of me) and getting launched up pretty high, so I staked it out. Below is the strange jumps shape.
Ok, so maybe the jump does not look scary at all. Whatever. I decided to bust out the 430EXII and get my shutter-drag on. It turned out to be pretty entertaining, with all the guys charging the thing trying to do the most maniacal grabs possible, as high as they possibly could, all off this little feature. The feature, BTW, had tree-patches on both sides of the landing. Adam approved of it, needless to say.
