Having had a terrible cold for the past few days, I have had some spare time on my hands. I compiled a few photos that have not fit in any recent blog posts but I felt were still pretty cool.
Six-shot composition. I saw the awesome dusk colors from outside my window, and on a whim went to the top floor to see if the rooftop was open for the season. Turns out it was!
This was a more complicated one. Took this at 200 f/2.8 with a 3 stop ND filter on. Six-shot composition to get a wider FOV while keeping the telephoto-f/2.8 DOF. Used the ND filter for more consistent light from the cars behind the sign in the background.
50mm f/1.4 @ f/1.4. Love the depth of field.
Window in an alley-way. I did not change the colors too much, it was pretty cool looking already.
Another shot of a different cool alley.
I was trying to get a HDR shot of the fresh snow on the road, when I accidentally got this. I was at the end of a 30 second shutter when A car came speeding up behind me forcing me to grab the tripod and get out of the road. I liked this more than my original shot!
PBR + Magic Cards + Weekend at the cabin = Win
I lost all my money at poker in about 30 minutes. So I started taking pictures of the poker. I still can’t get over the razor-thin DOF of the 50 f/1.4 at 1.4.
Bored one day I decided to shoot some photos of my shower with a couple off-camera lights. Interesting, but not quite as cool as I envisioned.
Here is my friend Joel. We were on a bike ride and stopped for some pints at Brits.
Tried to make this work FOREVER but this is the best I could manage. Burning incense inside the soup can.
Below is a recap gallery!
